I am running for the School Board to support and advocate for students and parents, ensuring every family has a voice in their child’s education. I believe our schools should be welcoming, inclusive environments where diversity, equity, and inclusion are always at the forefront of decision-making.
I am committed to strengthening student achievement by supporting high academic standards, strong teachers, and the resources students need to reach their full potential. I will also continue to support every student, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, so all children feel safe, respected, and empowered to succeed.

is Shernice?
I am a proud mother of three children who went through Harford County Public Schools, giving me firsthand experience with the strengths and challenges of our education system. I am a veteran of the United States Air Force, where I learned discipline, service, and resilience. I am a former federal employee who was fired under the current administration, an experience that strengthened my resolve to stand up and fight for fairness and accountability.
